The Renewable Energy division of GABITEL is one of the company’s main strategic areas. In addition to contributing to sustainable development through numerous wind projects and photovoltaic plants, it has made a special commitment to green hydrogen. This reflects our responsible approach to transforming the current energy landscape, promoting decarbonisation towards a more sustainable future and contributing to climate change mitigation.

GREEN HYDROGEN
The hybridization of renewable technologies and hydrogen is recognized as key to achieving decarbonisation objectives across different sectors such as transport, industry, and electricity, acting as substitutes for fossil fuels.
For this reason, our Photovoltaic Department has pioneered the training of technicians in hydrogen technology, covering both extraction and storage processes, as well as their practical applications.
Thanks to its strategic location, infrastructure, and natural resources, Huelva is set to lead the Green Hydrogen revolution, becoming the epicenter of numerous pioneering projects in this technology worldwide.
Gabitel is included in the Map of the Network of Entities for Green Hydrogen in Andalusia, prepared by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mines of the Junta de Andalucía. This map identifies companies active in the regional energy sector, as well as business associations, clusters, R+D+i centers, research groups, training centers, and economic and social agents that collaborate to promote and accelerate the development and use of this technology as a decarbonisation source.
Gabitel belongs to the group of companies focused on R+D+i, engineering, design, and product concept development. We leverage more than 15 years of experience in the renewable engineering sector—especially photovoltaic and wind plants that complement hydrogen projects. Over the past three years, we have backed more than 85 renewable projects with a total power exceeding 3 GWp. This activity is complemented by High Voltage Engineering, Environmental, and Permitting services.

PHOTOVOLTAIC SOLAR ENERGY
Our experience in power generation has focused on the design, construction management, and legalization of renewable energy installations, primarily solar photovoltaic systems. In this regard, we have collaborated on the design of dozens of solar farms, as well as their medium-voltage electrical evacuation infrastructures up to the electric utility’s grid connection.
Among our clients in this area are prominent companies such as SUNEDISON, ENDESA INGENIERÍA, SOLAR PROJEKT, CAPITAL ENERGY, IDESA, and others.
