RENEWABLE ENERGIES
Engineering, environmental permitting, and project development for green hydrogen and solar photovoltaic plants.
GABITEL’s Renewable Energy division is a strategic business line within the company, specialized in the development of renewable generation projects, green hydrogen, and grid connection infrastructure.
Our approach genuinely integrates engineering and environmental expertise, carrying out environmental work in the vast majority of the projects we develop through the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and the associated permitting procedures for AAU, DIA, and AAI.
This methodology makes it possible to address the project’s technical, environmental, and administrative viability in a coordinated manner, optimizing timelines, minimizing permitting risks, and improving the territorial integration of energy solutions.
OUR FIGURES (2018-2026)

GREEN HYDROGEN
The hybridization of renewable technologies and green hydrogen is one of the key drivers for the decarbonization of industrial, energy, and transport sectors. In this field, GABITEL provides basic engineering, detailed engineering, associated infrastructure design, and environmental and administrative permitting services.
Our experience extends to the design of hydrogen production plants, integration with photovoltaic and wind generation, electrical evacuation infrastructure, and territorial siting analysis, incorporating the project’s environmental and regulatory constraints from the early stages.
In virtually all of these projects, our team also carries out the environmental work associated with the development, including Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), studies for AAU, DIA, and AAI procedures, impact analysis, the definition of preventive, corrective, and compensatory measures, as well as environmental monitoring programs.
MAIN PROJECTS
Detailed design for the 50 MW “Dehesa del Duque” photovoltaic solar plant and its grid connection infrastructure, as well as the detailed design for a hydrogen plant with a 15 MW electrolyzer – Grupo Lyncis
Administrative design for the three photovoltaic solar plants known as Cuadrejon 1, 2 and 3, with a total generation capacity of 188 MW, together with their grid connection infrastructure, for the execution project of a hydrogen plant with a 50 MW electrolyzer – Energy Green Generator
Basic design for a 160 MW hydrogen plant and associated infrastructure – Trina Solar
Basic design for a 140 MW hydrogen plant and associated infrastructure, including a wind project and a photovoltaic generation project
PHOTOVOLTAIC SOLAR ENERGY
GABITEL has extensive experience in the design, development, and permitting of photovoltaic solar plants and their grid connection infrastructure, covering basic engineering, detailed engineering, construction supervision, legalization, and comprehensive support for the implementation of renewable power generation projects.
This technical capability is complemented by the environmental integration of projects, with environmental work carried out in virtually all assignments through the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and the documentation required for AAU, DIA, and AAI procedures.
The result is a fully integrated project management approach, coordinating layout design, constraints, grid connection, territorial factors, permits, and environmental measures under a single engineering and environmental framework.
