The Renewable Division of our company, Gabitel, has kicked off 2024 with an impressive boost by securing a dozen projects in Andalusia. These projects, with grid connection points granted in January 2024, include comprehensive services provided by Gabitel.
During January 2024, we finalized agreements for the execution of environmental projects and services, and their processing through to Ready-to-Build (RTB), with the goal of achieving Acceptance for Processing before next summer. This milestone marks a significant advancement in our annual project portfolio, reinforcing the region’s commitment to the transition toward a more sustainable and efficient energy model in Andalusia.
In addition to the green hydrogen projects currently in development, which we are keeping confidential, we have contributed to the implementation of several standalone hybrid systems and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in collaboration with various companies. These initiatives will not only strengthen our position in the renewable energy market but also contribute significantly to the stability and resilience of the Spanish electrical system.
