The management of GABITEL SOLUCIONES TÉCNICAS is based on evaluating not only economic criteria—which are highly important when making decisions—but also aspects related to work flexibility, work-life balance, transparency, and cooperation between companies.

  • Gabitel promotes the training of its workers by consistently facilitating programs for professional improvement and personal development, including language training programs planned for the upcoming academic year.

  • The hiring process strictly prohibits discrimination based on sex, race, or religion; accordingly, Gabitel’s workforce is close to gender parity.

UNITED NATIONS GLOBAL COMPACT

In April 2016, GABITEL SOLUCIONES TÉCNICAS signed its letter of adhesion to the UN Global Compact, an initiative aimed at promoting social dialogue to foster global corporate citizenship. This enables the reconciliation of companies’ interests with the values and demands of civil society, UN projects, trade unions, and non-governmental organizations, based on 10 principles covering human rights, labor, the environment, and anti-corruption.

Through this agreement, GABITEL SOLUCIONES TÉCNICAS commits to integrating the Pact and its principles into the company’s strategy, culture, and daily operations, as well as engaging in cooperative projects that contribute to the broader United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly the Millennium Development Goals.

As part of this commitment, GABITEL SOLUCIONES TÉCNICAS submits an annual Communication on Progress, detailing the efforts made to implement these 10 principles.

Increasing diversity is one of the greatest social changes of the 21st century. Today, no group can ignore realities such as the growing presence of women in the labor market, migration, cultural variety, diversity of lifestyles, and differences in sexual orientation. In this context, people management in organizations must move beyond the outdated notion—rooted in many traditional practices—that employees form a homogeneous, undifferentiated group. On the contrary, it must be recognized that the workforce consists of individuals with very diverse personal, cultural, social, and demographic backgrounds, making it essential for people with different needs, attitudes, values, motivations, and knowledge to coexist harmoniously.

Companies that are voluntary signatories to the Diversity Charter respect current regulations on equal opportunities and anti-discrimination, and commit to the following basic principles:

  • Raise awareness of the principles of equal opportunity and respect for diversity, embedding them as core company values and promoting them among all staff.
  • Advance the construction of a diverse workforce by encouraging the integration of professionals with varied profiles, regardless of sex, sexual orientation, race, nationality, ethnic origin, religion, beliefs, age, disability, or any other personal or social circumstance.
  • Promote inclusion by facilitating effective integration and preventing any form of direct or indirect discrimination at work.
  • Consider diversity in all human resources policies, managing it as a transversal principle underlying all decisions in this area.
  • Promote work-life balance by establishing mechanisms that harmonize work, family, and leisure time for all employees.
  • Recognize the diversity of customers as a source of innovation and development.
  • Communicate and extend the commitment internally, sharing with all staff the responsibility the organization assumes as a Diversity Charter signatory.
  • Disseminate the commitment among suppliers, inviting them to join the community of companies in Spain adhering to this voluntary pact.
  • Convey this commitment to administrations, business organizations, trade unions, and other social agents.
  • Report on activities supporting non-discrimination and the results of diversity policy implementation in the company’s annual report.

At GABITEL SOLUCIONES TÉCNICAS, we adhere to a Compliance Policy in accordance with current regulations. Our company ensures the management of a prevention model, supervises its operation and compliance, and oversees personnel monitoring and control.

CRIME PREVENTION PLAN

At GABITEL SOLUCIONES TÉCNICAS, we recognize the importance of demonstrating that managers and administrators have exercised due control over all collaborators under their authority to mitigate the risk of criminal liability for legal entities.

To this end, we have established a Crime Prevention Plan, a program that sets out the measures to be followed to prevent involvement in criminal activities, as required by Article 31bis of the Criminal Code (introduced by LO 1/2015), and to detect any crimes that may occur within our company and, if necessary, take corrective actions.

ETHICAL CHANNEL

In 2016, GABITEL SOLUCIONES TÉCNICAS launched the Ethical Channel, a whistleblowing platform designed to provide accessible and confidential communication for reporting potential actions with criminal implications within the company, by customers, employees, or suppliers.

This system implements an agile process that facilitates the receipt of reports, which are subsequently investigated by the respective Compliance Officers, who will determine and implement the appropriate measures in each case.
