Gabitel will participate through its Chair as a sponsor at the 1st National Green Hydrogen Congress (Casa Colón, February 7–9), a pioneering event in the sector that will establish Huelva as the global epicenter of this renewable-derived energy vector.

This congress will be a national and international platform in which more than 500 participants, including experts, professionals, and sector leaders, will share ideas, projects, and visions to drive the development of Green Hydrogen—an area where the province of Huelva is poised to play a crucial role, with several projects already underway in which Gabitel has participated in their administrative and environmental processing.

Gabitel will have its own stand in the exhibition area, where visitors and participants can learn about the projects we are working on and the pioneering commitment we made to this clean and transformative technology—to lead the energy transition by promoting decarbonization toward a more sustainable future and contribute to mitigating climate change.

Notably, Gabitel began 2024 by positioning itself on the Green Hydrogen Entities Network Map in Andalusia, produced by the Junta de Andalucía, which identifies around fifty companies already operating in the region’s energy sector, as well as some thirty business associations and clusters, R&D&I centers, research groups, training centers, and economic and social agents that will operate synergistically to promote and accelerate the development and use of this technology as a source of decarbonization.

Gabitel is integrated among R&D&I, engineering, product design, and concept firms, leveraging its more than 15 years of experience in the renewable engineering sector—especially in photovoltaic and wind-power plants that complement hydrogen—backed by over 85 renewable projects totaling 3 GWp in the last three years. This expertise is complemented by High Voltage Engineering, Environmental, and Permitting services.

Indeed, in its pioneering commitment to this clean and transformative technology, Gabitel launched in 2021 the Gabitel Chair on Hydrogen as a collaboration with the University of Huelva to coordinate university-led activities and promote the use of green hydrogen.

Since then, the Chair has enhanced the development of R&D&I, training, and knowledge-transfer activities, aiming to establish Huelva and its specialized companies as a catalyst for creating a cluster that drives and promotes green hydrogen projects—where Gabitel assumes the role of guarantor of quality, cutting-edge engineering work.
