The German-British Chamber of Commerce and Industry recently held a members’ reception in London, where the challenges facing the economic sector amid a time of great international uncertainty were discussed. Our colleague Riccardo Weber attended the event.
Founded in 1971, the German-British Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a business-to-business organization that brings together 750 British and German member companies. It works to promote opportunities that encourage investment attraction and the opening of new marketing channels.
The commercial services of the German-British Chamber of Commerce and Industry receive over 8,000 business inquiries each year, through which they help companies boost or expand their export activities by providing business contacts, information, and advice.
Both the German and British markets are strategic for Gabitel’s business model and internationalization process, especially for its Telecommunications division. This division has completed numerous projects and has others underway in connectivity and FTTH network deployment. Gabitel is a regular participant in their main conferences and leading forums (Connected North and Connected Britain), reflecting its commitment to developing digital infrastructure to improve the quality of life in local communities.
