Another step in our commitment to training new talent: Gabitel partners with Dual Vocational Training.

The Gabitel Chair on Hydrogen has reinforced its role as a promoter of renewable hydrogen use during the celebration of the 1st National Green Hydrogen Congress, held from February 7 to 9 at Casa Colón in Huelva, where it actively participated by showcasing its pioneering commitment to this clean and transformative technology, cementing Huelva as the green capital of Southern Europe and a leader in the energy transformation toward a more sustainable world.

Dual Vocational Training is one of the teaching modalities that in recent years has experienced significant growth among both young and not-so-young students. This option within vocational education has become one of the most in-demand due to the advantages it offers, particularly in the specialization of new professional profiles and the involvement of companies as a fundamental part of the training pathway.

Dual Vocational Training is a model of education in which both the educational center and the company take responsibility and commit to the students’ training. This creates an alternating learning process between the more theoretical component at the educational center and the practical component within the company itself, combining theory and practice from virtually the outset, as well as providing curricular value during the training process.

Gabitel takes a further step by joining this alliance with Dual Vocational Training, with the objective of contributing to improving the employability of our young talents through the development of their training as a collaborating company.

During the previous year, after several meetings and encounters with some of these educational centers, we signed various agreements that have already materialized in 2024. In February of this year, two students from the Higher Level Qualification in Building and Civil Works (CFGS de Edificación y Obra Civil) of I.E.S. Alonso Sánchez de Huelva and one student from the Higher Level Qualification in Renewable Energies (CFGS de Energías Renovables) of I.E.S. Antonio Muriel de Lepe joined us. These new team members will be with us until May and will continue to complete their training in 2025. Welcome, and we hope this initiative contributes to the start of a promising professional career.
