The province of Huelva possesses numerous natural resources and, driven by the global challenge of decarbonization, energy transition, and the use of renewable energies and their derivatives, it has become a powerful national and international investment hub in strategic sectors for its sustainable development.<\/p>\n

To analyze its strengths and advantages for investment, today the event “Invest in Huelva” was held at the Espacio Fundaci\u00f3n Telef\u00f3nica in Madrid. It was organized by Andaluc\u00eda Econ\u00f3mica Magazine, with the participation of prominent representatives from institutions, administrations, and leading companies of the economic fabric of Huelva to promote the potential the province offers in strategic sectors such as energy, industry, mining, water, agri-food, and infrastructure.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Indeed, Huelva has led industrial investment attraction in Spain with more than 5.8 billion euros<\/strong> in the last two years, representing up to 53% of all industrial investment in Andalusia.<\/p>\n

The event was attended by a Gabitel delegation led by its CEO, Juan Andr\u00e9s Reales, and the Director of Business Development and Renewable Energy Division, Jos\u00e9 Ra\u00fal Tejero. The event was inaugurated by Roc\u00edo Blanco, Minister of Employment, Enterprise, and Self-Employment of the Andalusian Government; David Toscano, President of the Huelva Provincial Council; Pilar Miranda, Mayor of Huelva; Jos\u00e9 Luis Garc\u00eda-Palacios, President of the Huelva Business Federation; and Alfredo Ch\u00e1varri, CEO of Andaluc\u00eda Econ\u00f3mica.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

The first of the four round tables of the event, titled \u2018Energy and Water\u2019, featured Antonio Joyanes, Director of Energy Parks at Moeve; Antonio Fern\u00e1ndez, Iberdrola\u2019s Delegate in Andalusia; and Higinio Mart\u00ednez, Southern Zone Director of Aqualia.<\/p>\n

The second table, titled \u2018Industry and Mining\u2019, was composed of Macarena Guti\u00e9rrez, CEO of Atlantic Copper; Vicente Granados, CEO of Instituto Espa\u00f1ol; and M\u00aa Paz Curto, CFO of Sandfire Matsa; while the third, \u2018Land and Infrastructure\u2019, included Alberto Santana, President of the Port Authority of Huelva; Alberto Fern\u00e1ndez, Mayor of Ayamonte and Vice President of the Huelva Provincial Council; Milagros Romero, Mayor of Palos de la Frontera; Manuel Contreras, President of Grupo Azvi; and Fernando Zurita, Director of Real Estate Development at Alvores.<\/p>\n

The fourth and final table, titled \u2018Agri-food\u2019, was made up of Francisco S\u00e1nchez, CEO of Onubafruit; Joaqu\u00edn Malag\u00f3n, Manager of Hudisa; Juan Manuel Arenas, Director of Fresas Nuevos Materiales; and Xanty El\u00edas, Chef and Founder of Grupo Xanty El\u00edas.<\/p>\n
